Mich Rose x Nicholas Shoesmith

Dance Artist & Photographer Mich Rose worked with Emerging Choreographer Nicholas Shoesmith and the participants of our Easter intensive to create new photographic paradigms during April 2023.

By placing Mich right into the heart of the work, Nicholas choreographed highly immersive sequences around their capture, producing a distilled set of photographs that reflect on the dancers' dedication and focus to the choreographic ideas, Shoesmith's own evolving movement language and an engaging set of images that place the viewer deep within the unfolding physical experience.
