Exploring cross border cultural exchange using the latest mobile technology available in your pocket. With kind support from Apple Europe, the creation process for this work involved developing the danced material in the studio in Glasgow, U.K., and using applications such as Apple's FaceTime and Photostream to send across rehearsal footage and instructional videos to a dancer in New York, U.S.A.

As assistant choreographer, Jamiel assisted in choreographically adapting the full-length version of the ballet into a 1 hour run-time small/mid-scale touring work.

The Dance School Of Scotland - Performed Theatre Royal Glasgow + Dance Film

Celebrating the wealth of young talent Scotland has to offer, MASTER PLAN features 16 year old Jamie Campbell, a student in his final year at the Dance School of Scotland. Filmed on Mobile, the film captures Jamie running and dancing his way down Glasgow's iconic Great Western Road. The work was later adapted form a solo for 15 dancers, and performed alongside the screening of the work at Theatre Royal Glasgow.

Celtic Connections 2019 - BBC Concert Halls Glasgow

Performed live by 8 dancers at the BBC Glasgow City Halls as part of Celtic Connections 2019; The genesis of this project came by way of a commission from world famous folk artist Jarlath Henderson, who has always wanted to see his work interpreted in the form of dance, while performing live on the same stage.

Commissioned by BBC Arts as part of their 2019 #DancePassion project, FLIGHT is a short dance film that follows a dancer on a journey through Glasgow’s BBC Pacific Quay HQ and is designed to be a snapshot of Dance across Scotland. FLIGHT features 43 dancers from across the Scottish Dance Community, including 12 organisations such as Scottish Ballet, Indepen-Dance, Barrowland Ballet, Shaper-Caper and RSCDS as well as freelance artists.
